It has been a long standing rumour that Desteni in some way owns, or participates in certain businesses. For the record, the only projects that Desteni is affiliated with in any way, are the following:

Individual members or participants of Desteni may develop other projects, however they do not automatically become affiliated with the Desteni group.

Desteni does not endorse or support in any way the use of the Desteni name, principles, published materials (including the works of Bernard Poolman, and previously published projects and proposals) or otherwise in the promotion of any business aside from the two official Desteni Projects listed above.

We at Desteni will welcome anyone into our community who is serious about investigating and testing the tools and principles, people from all walks of life and scopes of business. However we wish to make it clear that doing so does not imply in any way that we automatically endorse the personal and career choices of an individual simply because they participate on one or more of the Desteni platforms.

We have observed some repeating patterns within some people participating in DIP Lite, DIP Pro, and reaching out privately to various Destonians:

There is an idea being spread that Desteni/DIP, or some other tool/philosophy/project, is absolutely mandatory in order to "make it" in this life, or in order to "make process".
We categorically disagree with such sentiments, and stand by the principles that there are many different types of tools and approaches available in life that are more or less effective for different individuals according to unique and individual needs and natures.

Abuse of the term "Best for All"
The term Best For All is an incredibly vast concept, and different people will have different opinions about what is best. While there are some things in life that are objectively best for most people (eg nutritious diet appropriate for the individual needs of a person, safe shelter, effective education, etc) - the scope of these topics is limited mostly to basic living conditions. To use the term Best For All to influence people to agree with a certain opinion simply violates the heart of the principle, and is abusing the other person.

Using Bernard's blogs, vlogs, voice recordings etc to justify what someone does/says
It has become clear that Bernard has become a sort of mascot for people who try to use his published materials to validate their position and opinions as a means to sway someone else's choice or opinion. This saddens us, as it completely violates the essence of what Bernard stood for and encouraged people to do over and over: "Do not believe what I say - test it for yourself. Do not be a slave to my words - walk it for yourself."
Bernard often used contradictions to show people how easily they would treat him as a guru, instead of actually questioning and testing the information for themselves. If you are able to walk a point for yourself and become a living example of it - you simply do not need to use anyone else to try and validate what you say or do, because you are already living it.
So we say again as clearly as we are able to: Do not listen or believe what Bernard said. Take his words and TEST IT FOR YOURSELF. Assume that it is incorrect until proven otherwise!
Furthermore, Bernard is not here to speak for himself. No one can claim to know what he would have wanted, said, or done today if he were still here. No one can say that he would have agreed with anything that has been said or done in his name.

People converting/coercing the people around them to do DIP Lite / Desteni because it's "what's best"
We in no way condone any actions made within the spirit of converting, manipulating, coercing, or selling the Desteni message/tools to anyone who is not already interested in it independently. The body of work developed by the Desteni group is immense, and it is our opinion that it takes any person years to grasp even the basic nature of it. Many of the people joining DIP Lite appear to have been manipulated into doing so, which is a violation of the spirit of Desteni. This goes against the nature and principle of the Desteni message, which is one of standing and living as an example to others as one deepens one's understanding of the Desteni tools and Principles, not of seeking to "sell" Desteni, especially when one has not yet truly walked a process of understanding and testing the tools and principles.

In conclusion:

Desteni has changed over the years - this much is true. It will continue to change, adapt, and evolve. Some are joining us now, not knowing where we've come from, and some have been with us since the beginning. What we hold true through whatever may come is the Desteni message, tools and principles.
